Pinterest-lover and DIY extraordinaire, Amy heads up the creative team.

As a mother of four with a type-A personality, she can juggle 18+ projects and still have the energy to refinish a dresser in her spare time. Amy graduated from Loyola University New Orleans earning a BA in Advertising Communications with a minor in graphic design. Prior to her transfer to Loyola, she studied pre-med, architecture and art history at Tulane University before finding her true love in computer graphics. She moved to Virginia after graduation and worked for several area ad agencies including TBWA Chiat Day, Williams Whittle Associates, and The Bomstein Agency before opening Simpatico with her husband Dave in 2005.

When she’s not working or chasing her uber active children (ages 1, 3, 6 and 8), you can find her with can of Annie Sloan chalk paint in hand or designing vintage inspired event signage for her second business, Sangria Studios.
