Our Path. HOW’D WE GET HERE? Simpatico was not planned. In 2005 we quit our jobs to pursue a lifelong dream of flipping a house at the beach. Newly married and without children, it was the perfect opportunity to take a risk to do something we both loved. A “blessing in the skies,” as Dave’s great aunt used to say, the contract flopped and freelancing became the immediate solution to our new found jobless freedom. Fast forward 15 years and Simpatico is still our thing, and although the dream of flipping a beach house still exists, this isn’t such a bad gig.

For 15 years we’ve been a virtual studio, which has provided us the ability to navigate through challenges with ease, allowing us to focus solely on the needs of our clients, instead of worrying about things like running out of toilet paper in the office bathroom. And let’s be real. Creativity doesn’t always happen between the hours of 9 and 5, and certainly doesn’t happen surrounded by cushioned walls. So we built Simpatico so we can do the work we love while living the life we’ve always dreamed of.
