As we look ahead to 2022, we are excited to announce that Simpatico Design Studio has received its SWaM certification! The Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business certification program is a state program of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Independently owned by founders Dave and Amy Simpson and with six employees, Simpatico qualifies as a small business under the program.
What began in 2005 as a two-person digital design and website development studio has grown into a full-service virtual marketing studio. Simpatico serves clients across a variety of industries including hospitality, telecom, e-commerce, commercial and residential real estate, and non-profit and trade organizations.
In addition to working with private sector businesses, the Simpatico team can now collaborate with and provide innovative digital marketing solutions to organizations participating in state-funded projects. Many benefits come out of doing business with a SWaM certified organization, including tax incentives as well as helping America’s small, women-owned, and minority-owned businesses grow and thrive.
We’re excited for this new chapter in Simpatico’s history and look forward to sharing news of the new partnerships that come out of this certification in the months ahead!
